BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Colleges are an enchanting realm that captivates us all, beckoning us to venture forth into a realm of infinite possibility and excitement. I found Gireesh Kumar Sir during my college days who has helped me pursue my passion for building innovative technologies and I will always be thankful to him.

When I first met Professor Gireesh Kumar Sir in college, I had no idea that he would become one of the most influential people in my life. He was a software engineering professor, and I was studying Computer Science & Engineering. I had a natural interest in programming, and I had already developed a few software applications on my own. When Gireesh Sir found out about my skills, he asked me more about my projects and get to know me better. Before long, we were talking like old friends, and I felt like I had found a mentor who could help guide me on my journey.
One of the things I appreciated most about Gireesh Sir was his willingness to share his knowledge and experience with me. Whenever I had questions about software engineering or programming, he was always happy to help me out. He had a wealth of experience in the field, having worked on numerous software projects throughout his career. He was also up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends, which made him an invaluable resource for me.
We would often meet on the college lawn to discuss various topics related to software engineering and technology. Sometimes, we would even talk about college affairs or other things that were happening in our lives. These conversations were always insightful and thought-provoking, and I felt like I was learning something new every time we talked.
In December 2015, the Indian Society of Geomatics and the Indian Society of Remote Sensing organized their "National Symposium on Geomatics for Digital India and Annual Conventions" at our college. They invited researchers to submit their research papers and abstracts related to Digital India, and selected papers would be published. Gireesh Sir asked me to submit a research paper too. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to this important event, and I worked hard on my submission.
Several research papers were submitted from our college too, but only our research paper titled "Global India Business Centres: Digital India" was published, which was co-authored by Gireesh Sir. We were ecstatic to learn that our paper had been selected, and we were congratulated by the Chancellor, Vice-chancellor, Director, professors, and all the students. It was a proud moment for both of us, and it gave us a sense of accomplishment that we had contributed something meaningful to the field of software engineering and Digital India. I named my building “Rural India Business Centres” which is bridging rural and urban India. You can say it is a small model of the “Global India Business Centre”.
One of the things I loved about working with Gireesh Sir was his willingness to let me explore new ideas and technologies. He would often give me new projects to work on, which allowed me to learn new skills and expand my horizons. During software engineering classes, I would skip the theory classes because I had already studied the subject, and I was directly working on a project related to the subject. One such project that I developed from scratch was called the "Student Achievement Tracker" (SAT). It was a system designed to track the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of each student in the college that could be accessed from a website. The idea behind this system was to make it easy to find students with specific expertise and showcase their achievements in a college portfolio.
Although the project was successful, it did not receive as much interest as I had hoped. There were only a few students in the college who had achievements other than academics, which made it difficult to generate widespread interest. Nevertheless, I remained passionate about software engineering and continued to explore new ideas and technologies. After developing the SAT system, I continued to work on IoT projects which were completed in 2020 and the patent was filed with the help of NRDC (National Research Development Corporation), an enterprise of DSIR (Department of Scientific and Industrial Research), Govt. of India. All thanks to Shri Sanjay Jha Sir, Minister, WRD and IPRD, Govt. of Bihar and Shri Deep Joshi Sir for reviewing my technologies. This experience taught me a lot about the process of filing patents, and I gained valuable insight into the world of entrepreneurship.
As my time in college drew to a close, I realized that my experiences with Gireesh Sir had shaped my career aspirations in many ways. I was deeply interested in software engineering and IoT, and I had a newfound appreciation for the process of innovation and entrepreneurship. I knew that I wanted to continue exploring these areas after graduation.
In 2021, I took the leap and started Yantriksh Cybernetics Industries with Yuvraj Durgesh and Bhawpriya Ranjan later joined by Shri Deep Joshi Sir after his retirement from NRDC, which focused on developing IoT solutions for businesses. The journey was not without its challenges, but I was determined to succeed. I drew upon the lessons I had learned from Gireesh Sir and my experiences in college to guide my decision-making and drive my vision forward. Today, my company has developed a range of innovative IoT solutions that have been implemented by businesses across the country. I am proud of what I have accomplished, and I am grateful to Gireesh Sir for the role he played in shaping my career.
Looking back on my experiences, I realize that I was incredibly fortunate to have a mentor like Gireesh Sir. He recognized my potential and encouraged me to pursue my passions, even when others were skeptical. His support and guidance gave me the confidence to explore new areas of technology and to take risks that have ultimately paid off.
I am a firm believer that having a mentor can make all the difference in one's career. Mentors can provide guidance, support, and encouragement when it is most needed, and they can offer valuable insight into the realities of different career paths. For anyone looking to succeed in the world of technology, finding a mentor like Gireesh Sir can be a game-changer.
In conclusion, my experiences with Gireesh Sir in college taught me the value of mentorship and the importance of pursuing one's passions. His guidance and support were instrumental in shaping my career aspirations, and I am grateful for the role he played in my life. Today, as a successful entrepreneur and innovator in the world of technology, I look back on my college years with fondness and appreciation for the opportunities I was given. I hope that others will be inspired by my story to seek out mentors, pursue their passions, and never be afraid to take risks.
